my settings

Where are my settings?

I had XP set up for some time along with Outlook and all of its settings. When I installed Vista my calander, mail and contact settings all diapeared. Vista created a Windows.old folder. Can someone please tell me how to get back my old settings back?

Didn't you use the migration wizard to move your files and settings from XP to Vista? You did not upgrade. You did a clean install, otherwise there would be no Windows.old folder.

Just restore them from the backup you made immediately prior to installing Vista.

You're as bad as I am. :)
