Saving Settings???
I found the fix for my problem, it was the MPS setting in the BP6's bios. It was set to 1.4 and this caused my USB mouse to stop working. Setting it to 1.1 fixed my problem. most nics and I've triple checked all my settings (using ip address 192.168.0.1 and .2 with the same workgroup name) and nothing helps.

why are my default program settings not staying set?
Each time I reboot my RH 7.3 it "updates" fstab, wich means it deletes my fstab settings for mounting windows partitions. How can I stop this from happening? I used the "Save My Settings Wizard" to back up my Office settings and after a rebuild of my system I get an error message when I try to restore my settings saying that the wizard can't access the server to restore my settings. I've used this before and it worked like a charm. What's up MS?

After connecting to my ISP, I get an error message saying my protocol is not configured properly. The fix for this is to go into the networks section of control panel and select the properties for TCP/IP. Then I just click on each of the tabbed-pages to verify my settings (which are always correct and unchanged).
